Decking
With Decking the minimum thickness needs to be:
- 32mm for 600mm joist centres
- 19mm for 450mm joist centres
Also the slip resistance for the decking shall be not less than 0.4 when wet.
Other requirements
Other requirments for the decking are:
- There needs to be a 3mm uniform gap between adjacent decking boards
- There needs to a 12mm gap between the dwelling and decking boards
With ROBO Deck Designer all decks are designed using 88x32 decking.
